Re: my internet blocked after exceeding 250GB by 1GB.

251 IS still over 250, isn't it? Not sure why you were surprised about the notification.....

It's surprising because there was no notification and they just blocked him. They should have warned him as they're supposed to do when you reach 80%, and also since there is no charges, they have no reason to disable his account.

It's not disabled though. It's just a webpage saying "you did wrong, enter account number, go play again"

It's temporarily disabled, which is still disabled. There is another thread here where it can be a hassle getting back online if you don't plan a head and have the account number ready... If there is no cap, and no over charges, they have no reason to temporarily disable accounts for going over.

The should have sent emails out saying overages were suspended until they fix their broken meters, update the bandwidth meter page saying the meter is disabled, stop disabling accounts, and notify people via mail one month before they're ready to cap. It seems like they are intentionally sweeping the fact that their meter is broken and there is no cap now under the rug.
