disaster trying to keep email when canceling dsl
Finally switching from dslextreme - never able to get resolution on line problems/limitations because working with telco & separate isp a nightmare of unaccountability. I did want to retain dslextreme as email, however, and was told it was possible to do so for $5/month. Put this on the form as instructed, and a second service rep even read it back to me. Great. Wait a minute - today they've closed my mail accounts! Ineffective "Joseph" at 8am said he'd escalate the problem to supervisor and promised a call back. As of 5pm, no word and still can't log in. All this confirms my decision to leave dslextreme.

Got your PM. Thanks for the info. I found and temporarily reopened the account and enabled the email addresses. A billing representative will contact you early this week about the charges and terms. Once you accept, the account will stay open permanently.
