Car radios either have a conventional metal antenna, a rubber duck [coiled antenna in a rubber protective jacket] or a wire antenna embedded in the rear window.

Don't forget the older cars and trucks that had the two wires running through the windshield for antennas. Those got on my nerves back in the day.

Or rear quarter window, or one of the side windows next to the rear... especially if the rear windows have a defrost grid embedded.
