<description><![CDATA[treetop1000 posted : I don't believe you need the projector.<br>I remember seeing a Canon flatbed scanner that had a slide copier function a while back. <br>All you needed to do was install the little slide centering frame onto the scanners glass bed, push the slide into the scanner, trigger the scan and repeat.<br>The quality was way up there (equal to the original print) adjustable (scan it at 300 dpi up to 1200 dpi) and quick (5-10 seconds to complete).<br>The software would even save/store the scans as .jpg's and rename them if you desired. ]]></description>

The Airequipt circular, and the Kodak carousel are not interchangeable.<br>The Airequipt has aluminum holders for the slides.<br><br>If robman50 got both types of feeders then his projector will probably handle both.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[anon posted : most of the airequip projectors used the rectangular. the round trays are for either the kodak carousel projctors or the other brands with smaller round trays.  assuming yours uses rectangular. the tray nirmally goes on the machine sideways so a mechanism can push the slide into the light path. but some machines and most of the round machines use gravity feed to drop the slide inti the light path.  to further confuse things, there were some machines that accepted both round and rectangular trays.  in general for u, place the tray so that one of the open sides is accessible to the slot in the machine that goes into the light path.]]></description>

One slide should slide into the light path.<br><br>If no light, check the bulb and socket n contacts. If no advance or slide movement, try tiny amount wd40.<br><br>For screen you can use any white wall. Fancier are the more reflective brighter screens with glass beads.  Align rhe projector to be parallel to rhe screen.<br><br>Or just skip all that and send the slides out to be scanned or get a scanner with a slide scan attachment. Orif you have a patience n a macro lens just put the slides on a lightbox and photograph them]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[robman50 posted : My grandparents let me have there old slide projector and all the old family slide and I have no clue what model it is and how to use it. I been all over Google trying to find an user guide or something but I can not seem to find the 'SRC' series. Closest match to the pics is the 'Festival' series. I wonder how old this thing actually is.
