[Internet] Frontier Implements $9.99 Broadband Disconnect Fee

Frontier has implemented a new $9.99 fee for disconnecting your Internet service. It calls it a "processing fee." Customers signed up after 10/1 are directly affected (for now), but the company could always extend it to everyone down the road.

The tenuous explanation and further details are on Stop the Cap!

Re: [Internet] Frontier Implements $9.99 Broadband Disconnect Fe

What if you upgraded your service to a bonded ADSL2+ connection from a single line ADSL2+ under current contract?

The day there is another ISP in our area I will be happy to pay 9.99 to disconnect from them.

When that day comes and it will it's going to take more than 9.99 to stop me from cutting that cord.
