Rooted at last!!

I was able to find the other ROM, Galaxy cubed. I've got this successfully rooted now! Thank you so much.

I am quite unhappy with this ROM though. If I use the
update_SCH-I800_EC02_to_EI04A.zip ROM Do you think I could easily root it not that I've got it unlocked?

It apparently works for the SCH-I800 (Verizon) as well. I strongly recommend reading the entire thread before attempting anything though. However, would breath new life into that Tab.

The og TAB by VZW is fully supported by CM9 Milestone 6. I have been on ICS since it was released by Google.
