Re: The Walking Dead

A little but I understand why the person was armored up (although I often wonder why everyone else ISNT).

I think it was a girl... are we missing any ladies? I don't think it was what's her name.

At first I thought it might be Milton, but he was in town with Andrea at the time. It was the whole "would you take a bullet for me" speech. But I have to admit that when I saw the person move, it moved like a girl......

Ahhh ok then. I must have missed that. It seems that this season there are many walkers that just stand around and don't bother going for those near them....as in, those close enough to walk through the gate would've had to been there the whole time, so why didn't they start to go after the Gov and his crew?

I was thinking that the Gov and his men were not by the front gate but away from it and to the side. Kinda like they off-raoded a little to get into their position. Though I would have thought that their gunfire might have drawn the nearby walkers towards them.

It's interesting to note, that what I think was on The Talking Dead, they showed a head-shot picture of the Governor that showed the wrong eye messed up

(I can't show the picture because it's behind websense, but here's the bing search link »www.bing.com/images/search?q=gov···Index=12)

I think I recall seeing that but I suspected it was the Governor looking in a mirror,....

I can't get the link to work to see the pictures but if its the shot where it looks like he is about to take a match or lighter to his eye with the bandage off, then I think he" looking in a mirror.

I was thinking that there were multiple zombie herds coming out of the city, all in different directions. The herd that hit the farm may have come from the city, or even a suburb.

It could have, but the way it was shown was that it was the same group that was munching on the horse Rick rode in on.

Kinda a boring episode this week imo. At least we know what happened to Tyreese & company .

Next week's episode looks like it should be pretty good. Any ideas on who the 'lone gunman' is that they run into?

Wondered if anyone else would think that, as I had the same thought about the eye location changing, and even posted on my FB page about it.

Had to go back on the dvr and look closer. I too determined he had likely been looking in a mirror.

Yeah it was kinda a filler episode. I can't wait till Andrea gets killed. I really hate her character now lol. She's either too stupid to live to go back to Woodbury or is in love with the power she seems to be getting and/or the Gov.

I would think Tyreese group would splinter. With the White guys going with the Gov and him and the girl going to Ricks group.

The lone gunman on the roof in the previews I think is Morgan the guy Rick first meet up with in the first season.

I don't really know what to say about this last ep. They are way off the reservation on this since it departs so much from the books.

One would think that Andrea meeting up with Rick and the group would be more satisfying or definitive but ultimately it didn't amount to much. It was a long time coming and unfortunately anticlimactic,....

Andrea's (Laurie Holden) moonlight stroll in her birthday suit was nice though,.....

The writers planted a seed though and that seed is that the Governor will ultimately be undone from within by his own people or people he has chosen to trust. I could see Tyreese turning on him and Andrea as well once they see something in the field during battle that just doesn't sit right with them. This would be in keeping with the books.

Here is a question, when Andrea got up for her 'moonlight stroll', was it my imagination or did the Governor open his good eye for a second? Kinda like seeing where she goes. I really thought he was gonna 'wake up' when she came back next to him.

Perhaps,...but I didn't see that,....

She approached him from the right side though which is his blindside so I don't see any way he could have known what she was doing.

I'm a little surprised at Carol for putting her up to it, not so much that Andrea sort of tried and failed though,....

I was hoping she'd do it. It would've made things... interesting.

Yeah, Carol planted the seed in that little conversation they had, but I think the Governor is going to have a much more spectacular fall.

It looks like the prison group might even pick up some allies next week.

I studiously avoid watching the previews so, I donno anything about that.

OK so the episode didn't exactly turnout the way I had hoped.

I also feel really bad about the hiker guy. I understand they were on a mission but still. But I feel that if the hiker had survived all this time before today, that he probably wouldn't have become walker food so easily and shouldn't be dead

This show needs to pick up the pace soon. That's three slow episodes in a row now. Let's get with some twists and action. Carl shoots Rick, Merle becomes new leader, Herschel gets pregnant.....whatever. Just something.

I liked the episode. Michonne is becoming more talkative and finding her way. Morgan was good his traps were great. I liked the comparisons to him and Rick, and how Rick maybe realized without his people around him he would have ended up like Morgan.

The hitchhiker I felt bad for too. Your idea makes sense though, if he were able to get this far along then how was he killed so quickly but I guess anything can happen. But I think it shows Rick isn't interested in trusting anyone anymore. But didn't Hershel say that he has to start giving people a chance again? I mean it was one just one guy and they need all the help they can get. Plus if he didn't die and got with the Woodbury people then he would have a instant grudge against Rick and people.
