That's not how it works.... Trailing 1-0 is different than trailing 3-0. Manager could have pinch hit, the closer would be under more pressure not to give up just 1 run to tie, etc etc... |

Fact is, the Tigers won with our without the bad call. |

Tigers hit Sabathia at a .286 clip at Comerica Park, sounds bad until you realize that more than half of the other parks he gets hit worse, and he is 2-0 at Comerica. Then again, that was back when the Yankees had some offense - same story went Scherzer faced the Yanks back in April.
I see the Yankees winning tonight, weather permitting. New York gets two early and hang on for a 4-3 win. Hmmm, can the Yankees actually score runs? If they don't get the early runs, they lose. Sabathia is 1-4 in one run games - he needs run support. |

And the big Q is who do they get rid of in the off season ,to buy more big contracts.
I hate how the yankees try to buy championships and this is looking great with how A-ROID and a few others are performing right now.

Hehe, it was like the Leafs pre-salary cap... Didn't work out either...  But at least the Yanks won a few in recent memory.

The yanks should get rid of everyone over 35, and sign their own free agents who are 30 and under. That would be a good start. Just eat the Arod contract by sending him to the minors, if he gets claimed great,but he won't get claimed.
