 | Away 2 weeks, 99 Honda Will not Start Tank is full, got a new battery. It chugs for a few seconds. I dont want to kill my starter motor so I gave it a rest. Carb spray? No indication of issues before I left. Hood pull switch inside the car also came off :- |

 | Tried that, and I also tried with a battery charger with car start feature but I got a new battery entirely. |

First off.. Like Juggernaut said - Check to see if fuel pump is running. Listen under the car while you have someone cycle the key on and off (wait 10-15 secs between cycles to give the PCM a chance to reset the fuel pump command). |

Just thinking out loud here. -- Better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. |

 | Timing belt jumped and now it's out of time. |

CylonRedPremium,MVM join:2000-07-06 Bloom County | reply to Bob Same thing happened with my 89 Civic. I tried to get it running for about a month before I had it towed to the shop and they started it right and wanted to know what the issue was - I told them and they checked the oil and found a good bit of gas in the oil. Switched out the oil and it worked fine.
They decided that I started the car in specific weather and quickly shut it off (I had in fact moved the car from the garage to the driveway). It sat and the weather changed but the computer still had the settings for the last time it shut down and flooded the engine. -- Brian
