Re: [NFL] Week 7 Games Discussion

Ryan said earlier today that Tebow is going to line up at running back this week, since the Jets RBs are hurt.

I saw about half of the Jets game on the RedZone channel and didn't see Tebow at all. Guess Ryan changed his mind.

Tebow ran 4 times for a total of 12 yds. Hardly a factor in the game.

I saw the whole game, and I think I saw Tebow maybe 4 times in the entire game.
The whole thing is still a complete mystery to me. (Of course, a mystery why they signed him in the first place, and an even bigger mystery why they don't somehow work him into the offense more, rather than have him stand on the sideline and pray he gets a chance to go in for one play).

Is this guy a bot?

I feel like hes IBM's deep blue trolling us with dry ass facts.

I saw Tebow run a few routes and line up at RB.

I am sure its annoying the piss outta him and it didn't seem all that effective.

They're thinking about demanding some more draft picks.

We mean man.

Yea the offense is a joke and so is the secondary.

IDK what happened. If we just threw bombs to Calvin all game we would have more production.

It sucks sinking back into the hometown sucks slump. I don't wanna go back to 0-16. I DONT WANNA!

You guys used a lot of high picks on RB's to get nothing in return really.

Anyone see the Lions/Bears game?
I was wondering what people thought of that sack of Cutler by Suh.

I was watching it for the 140th time on some sports program and wondered why I don't see tackles like that more often. In particular I was wondering about the way Suh swept Cutlers legs out from under him and then landed on top of him. Does Suh (or anyone else) often tackle like that or was it just a random thing?

About 50 seconds in:

Lol...yeah, I remember it well. Cutler didn't get up right away either, and ended up going to the locker room at the 2 minute warning to get checked out.
No, you don't often see a 'leg sweep' like that. Usually it's just a big 'slam and knock 'em down'...but it was effective for sure.

There was no leg sweep. Watch the video again.

It seemed really effective at ending the play right there, which is why I was wondering why I've never seen it before.
I also thought maybe it was just a fluke that Suh's leg came around and took Cutler down.

Well, I didn't even watch the video..I just remember the play very well. (They showed the replay like 3 or 4 times during the game). And Suh definitely had a leg behind him as he knocked him down. Not so much an actual "sweep" I suppose, but the leg was there for sure to aid in getting him to the ground...and it certainly looked intentional to me. Pretty good technique I'd say, if you have the time.

The Rams had so many holes to fill, they couldn't afford to mortgage the future for one guy. Lots of draft picks are the only way to rebuild a franchise that had fallen so far.

It is still rude for Cutler to greet Stafford with a cigarette in his mouth.

But they had the pick. Couldn't they just dealt of Bradford to help fill some holes?

Can you think of any team that would have traded as much for Bradford as they got for RG3?

But will Bradford ever be RG3? And will those draft picks pan out to make an impact that RG3 can? Of course its easier for me to say now looking back and seeing how good Rg3 is playing in the NFL but the Rams had nothing to go on.

Also, remember that Fisher got burned by Vince Young in Tennessee. He may have been a little reluctant to go all in on another 'cant miss' QB.
