[MS] Modem re-boots ad nauseum

I live in Bay St. Louis. Internet has been fine for months. Last week, modem periodically starting re-booting every few minutes. Received Signal Strength fluctuates from -1 to -7 rebooting around -7. It just went through about 6 hours of re-booting and now signal is stable at -1.1 and no drops. Support knows of no problems in area. Modem was swapped out by Tech support. No splitters or noise on line.

Does this sound like a problem with the 'wires' under the street? Isn't there some way Mediacom should be able to tell what is happening on their wires?

I will be happy to look into this connection issue for you. Can you send me an IM with your account or phone number?
