Volkswagen MK2 1991 Starter?

Hi guys,

Where can I find a Volkswagen MK2 1991 Starter Relay, I searched on amazon, ebay and also called the manufacturing store, they say that they stopped manufacturing this item. can anyone help me finding this part?

You can also look at the amp ratings and the prong configuration on the relay and walk in to a regular parts store and look for a relay that has the same amp and pin configuration. I have a 03 GTI MK4 and not sure what the one looks like for your year.

It's not the relay....I've never seen one go bad.

Lower the fusebox and turn it around to view the back side.

See all that green funk ? that my friend is corrosion.

Cause: the valance below the outside of the windshield fills with leaves and crap causing the drains to clog.
It rains or you wash the car....
The valance overflows causing water to drip down directly onto the fusebox.
Water and electricity have never played well together.

Clean the drains before you replace the fusebox.
Most any Beck Arnley parts house will carry the base fusebox....as will *some* dealerships.
Make sure you get the exact same part number fusebox.....there are many, but only 1 is correct.

I will post the picture of my starter relay later. See if you can find one. all the sites you had suggested I already tried it.

What is the OEM part number? Does the old one have any numbers on it?
