Computer Hardware Help → Upgrating Graphic Card - Help!

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I'm not familiar with PC hardware. The thing I want to upgrade is my Graphic card in order to have better performance on Gaming. PC is 3 years old so it's not new. Bellow you can see my built:

CPU: Intel Core i5 @ 3.20 GHz ( 2 cores)

Current Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT.

RAM: 4GB

Any suggestion about a new Graphic Card? By budget is around 200- 300$ . Thanks in advance.

I take it you have a Core i5-650 or Core i5-655K? If so your CPU is probably just fine for gaming.

You're probably looking at a GTX 660 Ti or a Radeon 7950. I'd go for the 7950.

Also consider upping your ram to at least 8 GB. It's cheap.

Make sure you have a 64 bit operating system before upping ram...
