An Aecon crew from London was sent to windsor a few weeks ago to do some fiber laying.

While we're on the subject of FTTH - what about FTTB (fiber-to-the-business) ?

Bell seems to be sparing no expense to lay fiber to any commercial building that wants it, regardless how economically backward the payback is.

Information cannot be posted on a public forum about any new fiber installs due to the competitive nature of the "technology". Anyone who posts it would certainly be "suspect" and it could be bogus information. The media is where the information would be released first in my humble opinion...

Cost, mostly. They're not going to replace all the existing plant with fibre until they have either a surplus of funds or it's time for an upgrade.
