[Exede] Would I be able to use a wired BEFSR41 ? Bandwidth calc?

Pretty much in topic, I've been using it as a switch and letting my HN7000S do the DHCP instead of hooking it up on the Internet port.

Would I be able to do the same on the ViaSat's modem ? Or do I need to hook it in to the Internet port and use DHCP on the router ?

Also, I calculated my HN7000S usage last month up in a spreadsheet (besides the 1-6 AM (or "LNFZ" if you will) hours usage, and game up with 8.3 GBs worth of MBs . Is there something Hughesnet isn't calculating that might be calculated on the ViaSat service I need to worry about ? I did calculate for both up and down to come up with about 8.3 GBs worth of usage. Seeing as they offer 10 GBs now, I figure I might as well jump over to 12 Mbps while I can afford the $50.

Re: [Exede] Would I be able to use a wired BEFSR41 ? Bandwidth c

There is a lease fee for the equipment of $9.99 / month making the total cost of the 10 GB package $59.98 / month. Some areas can get Exede-12 while other areas are stuck with Exede-5 (5 Mb/s download speed).
