[Availability] Trying to get DSL for a friend

At&t claims not to have dsl at that co but they are such lairs since I know that CO does have dsl in fact. The co is about 1 mile away .

TWC gives the same excuse (they clam to only have tv service FULL OF SHIT lairs since we once lived that that area and had Internet as well)

TWC has DOCSIS 3.0 Headend in Lancaster ,CA

Just because the CO is 1 mile away driving or as the crow flies, does not mean it is 1 mile in wire length. Also, even though it is 1 mile, he could still be connected to a different one further away.

In addition to ilikeme See Profile's comments, the CO DSLAM could have no empty ports; or maybe only IPDSLAM equipment, so U-verse HSI, but no ADSL.

Maybe neither company wants to do business with you? From you post I could see why.
