Easy way to split audio file into multiple MP3s

Alright working on a parade float this Sunday and I need to split up audio from a movie into multiple MP3 files. I've already ripped the DVD and split the audio into a MP3. Now I'm trying to figure out an easy? way to split the audio file. I have all the timecodes.

At my disposal,

Avid Media Composer
Soundtrack Pro
Adobe Master Suite CS5
Audacity

The problem with avid is it seems I'd have to create multiple timelines and export each that way. Any ideas?

Open the full length mp3 in audacity. Use the selection option at the bottom of the screen to choose the first clip

copy (cmd+c), file new (cmd+n), edit paste (cmd+v)

export as mp3 with your new clip name, repeat for the other clips.

edit: this is assuming you already have the lame encoder, and used it, if not you'll need to download that and will have to point to it the first time you export as mp3
