Thing that made me the most annoyed: 7 months iPad refresh cycle. |

| reply to Jackarino Speaking as someone who still has an iPad 1 and just got the money to upgrade to an iPad 3, I was really happy to see iPad 4 show up.
But I can see why a lot of iPad 3 owners would be pissed right about now. -- "The counsel of fools is all the more dangerous the more of them there are." -Ólafr Höskuldsson |

Pissed - the mini was expected; the refresh on the iPad, not so much... I would have waited... |

ThinkdiffPremium,MVM join:2001-08-07 Bronx, NY kudos:6 | reply to Jackarino The iMac's thinness is very impressive. The necessity of such a thin design is questionable, though. Fusion Drive is much needed - I hope it retroactively makes it way to other Macs.
I was disappointed iTunes 11 was not released. Only 7 more days in October... -- University of Southern California - Fight On! |

pikePremium,MVM join:2001-02-01 Washington, DC kudos:3 | reply to Jackarino Disappointed they still have not redesigned the iPad. I have been wanting to buy one for a while but I was hoping for a design that more closely resembles the squarish iPhone 4/5 - I don't care for the rounded "iPhone 3G" look of the back cover.
Since I already have a laptop and a phone, it's difficult to justify a tablet as anything other than a toy. So in order to buy one I need to really like it.
Not real impressed with the iPad mini either - would have liked to see a retina display. I can speculate why they didn't do it: first, this resolution allows all existing iPad apps to work right out of the box; second, this will force those who desire the higher resolution to buy the full iPad.
It's easy to get spoiled by the high res devices and not want to go back to the regular ~130ppi screens. |

| reply to Jackarino I'm frankly laughing rather hard at the expense of iPad 3 owners at the moment. It dosen't surprise me that Apple pulled such a stunt, after all they did something similar with the iPhone 4 and 4S. It seems like Apple's marketing goal is to release the same device 4 times before a major re-design, with each iteration having incremental improvements over the previous generation.
The changes and updates to the Mac Mini and iMac were a long time coming, although it's disappointing to see yet another cycle without updates to the Mac Pro (they might as well just kill it off now).
As far as the Macbook Pro goes, same story as the last refresh with the Air; newer processor and USB3 were the only major changes over the previous generation. At least Apple didn't pull the Superdrive like they did with the Retina-display version of the MBP. |

Black_MageMy backup spell is WarpPremium join:2012-09-12 USA kudos:1 | reply to Jackarino iPad 4th gen = meh
iPad mini = Too expensive & not retina? Really? After making such a big deal about retina?
New iMac = instead of making the damn thing even thinner, they should have beefed it up with desktop level video card options.
Mac mini = Nice to see they still updating it
MBP 13 inch = Interesting
In conclusion, I have no interest in buying any of these products. |
