[MO] Modem reseting every 10 minutes or so when surfing
This has been going on for three months now. While surfing the modem constantly reboots itself. I have a Motorola SB5120. Starting to wonder if the modem is shot. Rest after reset. Seems to get worse when doing heavy surfing. Seems to run fine when streaming a constant source(netflix, Amazon instant movies) ,but when jumping from site to site it reboots. Very puzzled and annoying. Thought Id post here before calling tier one. -- sobriety is an illusion created by an alcohol deficiency
You can IM MediacomChad on here with the phone number on your account if you don't want to deal with phone support. It could just as likely be a signal level problem. I've been having similar issues lately, even with a brand new DOCSIS 3 modem (I have a tech scheduled to visit), so I wouldn't be so quick to blame the modem.
