HDMI to TV

I use my TV as a monitor and it works fine with a serial cable, but when I try to use HDMI it says "No Signal"

What TV do you have? I've never seen a TV with a serial cable connection.

Turn off the computer and TV.
Disconnect the VGA cable. (I assume that is what you meant by serial cable)
Connect the HDMI cable,
turn the TV on,
make sure it is set to that HDMI input,
then turn the computer on.

Which HDMI port are you using? From the manual, it appears that you can connect HDMI Input 1 to a DVI source. Input 2 does not give that option.
