Visually LoL was always easier on the eyes, and made more sense visually than other mobas...
HoN the charactesr didn't pop out enough... it was blah... i assume dota 2 suffers from this as well
LoL is toony, but its better that way |

dota 2's community hasn't been terrible so far actually, although i'm still newer so my MMR is lower i am sure
that being said dota is less forgiving than LoL, but not as bad as i originally thought before i played it.....the always free champions makes for better gameplay than LoL's purchasing system
Gameplay itself is smooth and well thought out, it's a bit of a change from LoL with longer stuns/stronger ultimates etc, but they all seem to mesh well, balance is pretty reasonable, especially considering how much they are tweaking it constantly
