Do you think there would be any benefit to the 4G modems using USB 3.0? And I mean the modem supporting it, and the port on the PC.

sure, if there were any. There are none. It's becoming more clear to me that the Telco's want you to buy a Smartphone and a tethering package. They will continue to offer a hotspot device but USB sticks are rapidly being phased out.

actually I dont mind as long as its not Wimax. Wimax sucked at my house but looking at the new LTE maps from sprint and verzion, they cover me well.
