| [CFL] TiVo Premiere + TA + CC = black screen I've recently upgraded to a *new* TiVo Premiere (2-tuner model). I transferred the tuning adapter and cable card to the new unit, called BH and got the CC paired on the first try (!).
Since then, it's mostly happy-happy joy-joy, UNTIL last night, when I was watching a recorded program. About 1/2 way into the program, the screen froze and then went black. The recording acted like it suddenly went blank.
I changed the TiVo output to "Live TV" and it was black, too. I checked the output of the other tuner (which was programmed to record a program at that time)...same thing.
The only way to bring everything back was to power cycle the TA and TiVo. Needless to say, the program that was being recorded now has a hole in the middle.
This never happened with my Series 3 HD -- anyone else have this issue? |

| I think this is a known bug on the current software baseline. I recommend you sign-up for the priority software update list. A new release with bug fixes will be rolled out in the next few weeks.
