how much is a gigabyte worth?
even with gas prices tamping down like a feather.. the price of a gigabyte seems to be going up all the time..

Contrary to the usual thumping that "data is data", a wireless gigabyte without a recurring monthly fee is certainly worth a lot more than one that expires in 30 days.

In this case, you're paying $11.25/GB to "own" it.

If your needs are sporadic (like mine), that's not a bad rate compared to renting expiring GB's at $5/month or more.
