These cards will still need an expiry. You cannot use them with many systems if the CC (which they appear to be) does not have an expiry.

A prepaid AMEX I had came with an expiry date about 8 years down the road, and came with a note that if I ever reached that date to contact them and they'd transfer the balance to a new card.

That is a good idea. I have used a prepaid CC gift card online, you cannot use one without the expiry. They could do something like a fake expiry, or like the Amex.
