I wonder if a couple of them channels indeed have 64QAM available. But there is a local issue preventing your modem from using 64QAM on the upstream. |

Norman, OK | I wonder if its the modem, I had a 6120 but recently switched to a 6121 thinking it would be better but the same firmware version was on both modems. What modem do you use? |

I use a motorola SB6180, and the modem isn't something that will matter regarding the use of 64QAM on the upstream. You may be able to PM CoxTech1  on here, and he may be able to look to tell you, if indeed there is 64QAM available on any of the upstream channels in your area. |

6120 in LA here. Only bonds 4 of the 8 but with preferred I don't need 4 more. |
