...Highway 17 just north of the picturesque city with the big goose is closed both ways....its been washed out.
If there is a time for a national roads strategy, it is now.
Who knows how long its going to take to rebuild this road and the associated costs.
This happens all the time out here. 2 years ago, the TCH heading into Medicine Hat was washed out adding 300 km's to the trip between Swift Current and Medicine Hat for weeks.
