Current Westell 7500 FirmwareI have three Westell 7500 modems, two of these units are Rev C and I use them in the Bridge mode into my ZyXel USG-100 router. They were received with firmware version 5.02.00.03. After the latest large scale outage I placed my remaining 7500 Rev F on-line to troubleshoot an issue I was having. Prior to placing on-line this modem it had firmware version 5.02.00.07, but after boot-up and a reset the firmware was downgraded to 5.02.00.03. Interesting that the latest firmware on the Westell Support page is 5.02.00.03. Anyone else notice the this? Does anyone have version 5.02.00.07 on their 7500? |

I booted up one of my old Westell 7500s and the firmware is 5.01.01.07.
I have an older one boxed up, if I have time I'll see what it is reporting. It doesn't have any Frontier branding on it. |

Thanks for checking. Sorry, I should have listed the model number. This would be for model: A90-750044-07. |

I think if anything, Frontier pushes out the updates on the backend to the modems. I've never seen a firmware update page on their support website for the modems. |

Same here, that is why I was surprised when it was downgraded to a previous release. I find it perplexing that they do not make the firmware available for download. |
