Same graphics/textures and everything else, but lets you use KB+M to play and feels smoother. Or normal zdoom for softwear '3D' like duke 3d used.

As far as updates for windows 8, no idea what to do never heard of this before. I have Windows 8 Pro 64bit installed on my Asus Eee Slate EP121 Core i5 tablet PC and everything is fine there for the most part. However, I was thinking of upgrading one of my main desktop systems from Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit to Windows 8 Pro 64bit. I ran the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant and under items to review there was at least one Steam game that was listed,…with a link for an update!
