How are you downloading?

Even with just a 30Mbps connection I rarely get that full download speed from a single source/server on a file download. Usually I need to open multiple downloads to fully saturate the connection and see the true, sustained download speed.

I download from multiple machine at the same time and watch the wan interface on my router.

The download method isn't the problem as it was easily hitting 98mb/sec prior to the last month.
