Re: FTTN and FTTN-BP?
FTTN= Fiber To The Node/Neighborhood
FTTN-BP = Fiber To The Node/Neighborhood-Bonded Pair
Basically, if you live close enough (roughly 3000' as the copper runs) to the neighborhood fiber node (aka VRAD), your service is provided by single-pair VDSL2 FTTN service
If you are a little further away from the neighborhood fiber node (roughly 3000'-5000' away as the copper runs), and you live in a single family house, your service is provided by 2 bonded pairs of VDSL2 FTTN service
The bonded pairs allow for a longer loop, as each pair only has to carry half the bandwidth that a single pair service could provide
