Trying to connect an old DSL modem

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, but I hope I can get some answers. So basically I have AT&T U-Verse Internet and currently using a 2WIRE 3600 HGV Router hooked up in my kitchen. I have this old Motorola 2210 DSL that I want to connect in my room. There is no computer in my room, so is there any chance I could configure the modem to work in my room alone? I have some knowledge about getting it to work, but I just know that you have to plug the modem into the router using an ethernet cable. Correct me if I'm wrong, and thanks for any help!

The 3600 is for VDSL. The 2210 is for ADSL or maybe ADSL2. You can't use both on the same line.

You can't plug the 2210 in behind the 3600.

Why were you wanting to hook it up anyway?

Maybe if you tell us more about what you are trying to do. You say, "There is no computer in my room." So why would you need a modem there? In any case, modems bridge the telephone line to an Ethernet network. You plug routers into modems. You don't plug modems into routers.
