issues with wireless speed drop.

I have a Netgear WNR1000v2 router.

I also am using a HP G72 laptop using the following built in adapter: Realtek RTL8191SE 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter

My issue is when I reboot my router the notebook sync's up at 150mbit/sec which is the routers max. After about a day or 2 it winds up dropping down to 65mbit/sec. I am curious how I can or if i can get it to stay at 150.

I have security set to WPA2-PSK [AES]
And channel is set to "AUTO"

Thank you!

Just a guess on my part, but probably crummy router firmware in the router or driver in the laptop. Try switching one out to see where the problem lies.

I disabled this router option and it fixed it.
