Re: Superfast 150/65 service!! err.. no :) Tech came out last night.. turns out lite levels are low for the wavelength used for data services. video lite levels are fine.
Issue is back somewhere between the ONT and the CO. Bad splice or patch probably. |

| Had a different guy come out today.. Said it wasn't really the light levels, but went ahead and replaced the ONT and troubleshot the whole path..
Issue looks to be a GPON card at the CO.. But of course with the hurricane going on he can't get through to anyone..
Argh, perfect timing, lol.. The packet loss is so bad I can barely do anything on the web. |

| Service magically restored this morning.. yay!!
It's crazy that I was using my LTE phone to tether and getting 1MB/sec, but on my 150Mb FIOS I could only get around 50KB/sec on a single TCP session..
Packet loss is a killer! |
