| Run FireFox and WaterFox at the same time? I'm guessing there is a conflict, since they both use the same profile info, add-ons, etc.
I'm asking because FF is my default browser, and while I'm trying out WF, I might forget and click on a link in an email that starts FF. I'm just concerned that situation could damage FF's files. -- Our people asked for help, and were denied help. Three times they asked and three times were refused. Now they're dead. |

I think if you have one open, and try to open the other one, it will just start a new instance of the same.
For example, if you have Waterfox open, and click on the shortcut for Firefox, Waterfox will open a 2nd instance. Same goes if you have Firefox open, and try to click on the shortcut for Waterfox. Firefox will open another instance.
You are correct in that both use the same profile, which is why I think the behavior is what I described above.

Thank you for the help. |

| reply to DataDoc Actually I have done just that. You need to install it to it's own directory, and to eliminate confusion, I used the profile manager to keep the profiles separate. »support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/pro···profiles |
