Re: Kid control via router?
One solution if there were a spare pc, as router, run WCCP on a linux box, similar to what DGK said.
Setup is not for the faint of heart, but any distro with the WCCP module in the kernel will work, using apache traffic server.
(Would I do it again? God, no, I would spend the cash to buy a commercial router.....)
A simple google brings you to »trafficserver.apache.org/docs/tr···.en.html, which, were it a no smoking advert, would stop a three pack a day man.
My instructions, a few years ago, for apache traffic server, wccp, were somewhere around four pages long. And I am no geek.
Thus, apt-get install trafficserver, then, grab six-pack.
Life is a series of return dates. There is but one final argument, its eloquence determines who we were, and whether who we were had meaning.
