EA6500 Config Preventing Me from Accessing Modem Config

I have Motorola SB6141 modem for my TW Cable service. When I had a Linksys E4200 V2 router attached to it, I was able to access the modem configuration via 192.168.100.1. After I replaced the router with EA6500, I'm no longer able to access 192.168.100.1. My router's LAN address is 192.168.8.1 so there is no conflict there. When I bypass the router, I'm able to access it. Can someone please help me which setting is the cause of this problem and how I can fix it? Thanks so much!

I tried to add static IP using their suggestions, but EA6500 complains if I try to add modem's IP address (192.168.100.1) as Gateway as the posts suggest to do.
