Here's why I won't be getting power back for a few days. This is next door to my house.

It turns out that no one wanted this job because it was difficult. So, he just took care of it. It took over an hour and was a real trick to remove.
All of the neighbors watching the action (including me) thanked him - he appreciated it.
To anyone else who can do nothing but watch these guys in action (electric utility, public service, etc.), thanking them for their efforts goes a long way to make it worth their while. |

GeekGirl1Premium join:2007-01-28 Morrisville, PA kudos:2 | reply to GeekGirl1 No one in the neighborhood has any power, but we made the best of it last night. We invited the neighbors over for dinner.
My better half got his grill out, somebody brought a steak, someone else chicken, we threw in some fish. The most important contribution was paper plates and plastic flatware.
A modern day version of stone soup. Dining under candlelight was a blast; something we haven't done in quite some time. Party! |
