Re: [Weather] Tropical Cyclone Alert - Hurricane Sandy

Looks like the other side of Sandy is starting to rear it's head in Toronto, it was a gorgeous morning , now it's getting darker and starting to drizzle.

It''s not the other side as the storm is still down near Pennsylvania and won't actually be passing directly over our part of Ontario. It's the same moisture bands that we were getting last night, just less intense.

NHC is predicting the remainders of it will pass directly over Toronto around this time tomorrow.

... though their predicted 3-day path from this time yesterday turned out to be completely off, so take it for what it's worth.

Environment Canada still has it cutting back east a bit, crossing over the Bellville/Trenton area.

Last update I saw had it cutting back toward Kingston, so point taken.

So when it passes over tommarow will the weather be bad and bring more rain and wind?

Yeah, I think most of the models from later in the day yesterday had it doing that, then heading down the St Lawrence.

Weather Network website still has that as the path, but it hasn't been updated since yesterday morning...
