Yup. Had an outage earlier this month or late last month as well. Wonder if it's storm related or something else. Doesn't Apple use Amazon's Cloud and MS Azure for their supposedly reliability? Maybe Apple needs to build-out their own back-end with that $120B cash on hand to avoid these outages. |

The fall back to text option is pretty useless when it takes 10 minutes for the iMessage attempt to fail. |

Gotta say, Im less than a huge fan of the iCloud/iMessage infrastructure. Sometimes my iPhone iMessages dont show up in OS X Messages, or vice versa. I never seem to know if my messages truly were delivered. Sometimes my iMessage recipients become unverified. And Im still pissed that when I upgraded to 10.8, my existing iMessages from my iPhone were not picked up. |

it is one of the worst apps apple has made... Supposedly, it's compared to Adium and Trillian yet it has none of the features of either... It's useless unless you religiously use it with iphone, even than it's what it is... |
