anon posted : Yes, I can get on the Internet just fine. As I said earlier, everything worked great until I had to reorder everything for another 2 year contract. Initially, I was only missing VOD on one premium channel. After I foolishly called support, I have zero.

[VOD] No VOD channels at all - Rant

anon posted : Everything was working fine until I got one of those little notices from Verizon saying my two-year contract was about to expire and I would be charged a bazillion dollars a month, but, if I started another two-year contract, blah, blah. So I started another order, everything seemed to go through ok, I had all my channels, but I didn't have VOD on one of the hd channels I subscribed to. After spending over an hour on the phone with the VZ wonder-techs, I had exactly zero channels on VOD. So I call again, get bounced around their support organization, waste another two hours on the phone, all to no avail.

My latest attempt involved their worthless chat app, and I told them I was trying to figure out what I needed to subscribe to, since VOD said I was not subscribed. The marketing guy handed me off to tech support, who said I needed to subscribe to the on-demand versions of their hd packages (Gee, that wasn't exactly obvious when I did the order...) and handed me back to marketing. Then the chat session mysteriously disconnected.

I'm sure their organization is filled with nice polite people, but their competence appears to be severely lacking. I'm honestly sick of spending hours and hours with these **bleep** trying to get what should be a minor problem corrected. After being a loyal early adopter of their fios service, I'm about ready to pull the plug on the whole thing over their lack of support.

DirecTV is looking better and better...
