[DSL] TekSavvy DSL charge vs Start.ca no charge

Hi,
I was wondering why Teksavvy charges $50 fees for their DSL 6 activation but Start doesn't charge anything for their DSL Standard which is similar to the TSI DSL 6?

Hi Nazanin,

TekSavvy has opted for the one time activation fee as our customers have asked for complete transparency when it comes to activation fees. Instead of adding it into the monthly cost we decided to go with the upfront fee.

Thank you,

Start was either willing to accept a lower profit margin, or has lower internal costs.

Or they're eating the cost.

To OP: some have activation costs, some don't. That just the name of the game.

Eating the cost is the same thing as accepting lower profit margins...
