Yeah.
Apple fans won't buy that excuse, because the iPhone 5 already has LTE, and they were able to offer it without impacting battery life very much.
Keeping the cost of an unsubsidized handset down at a time when HSPA+ is perfectly serviceable seems much more plausible and reasonable anyway.

There could be two reasons:
1. For marketing reasons
2. To show that HSPA is a inferior product simply because it falls under "3G".
I leaned more towards option 2 based on how that comment was directed. So if I misinterpreted your response then feel free to correct me. |
