Do NOT use either as GATEWAYS .... only use either as CABLE MODEMS via BRIGE Mode.
If you want QoS then get a good quality Router like the Netgear WNDR4500.
QoS is a very misunderstood technology --- What YOU need to know is that VoIP requires 128Kbps down and 128Kbps UP CONSTANTLY [per phone in use] and in the consumer space your Router will only be able to control what happens within your network --- it cannot control what happens on the Rogers Network.
