I have the same ONT. There should be a regular 3-prong power cord coming out of the top (if i remember correctly) going into a Verizon surge protector/grounding box and then into an outlet (might not have this in some areas).

Unless they wired the ONT directly into the panel, as it is pretty close.

Yes, you are right. I opened the top box and it has a black three prong plugged into a white three prong that goes up into the verizon surge protector that attaches to the battety. I should plug my extension cord fromy power supply into the black cable correct? I have a generator that first plugs into a surge protector the extention cables coming out of that.
