 | [Tampa] New Sofware error Tonight I saw the same show, same time, same channel...in my Scheduled Recording List. I decided to wait until the recording time started thinking maybe one would drop. Not so, both shows are recording.
Cisco 8742.....it has been re-Booted w/i the past 24 hours..... Never experienced an issue like this with any previous guide software |

 | Just wanted to place this back to current date to be sure someone at BHN sees it, perhaps comments....and reports this back to Programmers. |

 | reply to Cisco Kid Yes I am eager to see the comments. Same thing happened to me could not figure out why it was going to record the same show, same channel and same time. I deleted one and recorded properly. I have a cisco 8742 also. |

waynew join:2012-03-16 Lake Mary, FL | reply to Cisco Kid I think I saw something similar to this a couple weeks ago. At the time, I thought it was related to a show that had its time tweaked forward or backward by 1 minute after it was already "tagged" for recording.
I suspect the DVR software doesn't deal well with guide updates after a recording is scheduled. I see weirdness frequently with Mythbusters (and this week with Pawn Stars) where the episodes appear in the guide with the hidden "new" bit set (so they get scheduled), but then later in the week, the guide gets updated & the shows are no longer "new" (or different shows entirely are now scheduled). Then the DVR records that time slice anyway (either a non-new episode or a wrong show). |
