[DSL] Why can't I get 7mb service?

Hello, I live in a Frontier (formerly Verizon) area, and I have DSLx 3mb service. I also have a 7mb line I use in my home business with Frontier already. When I try to upgrade my DSLx line, the reps from DSLx tell me its not available, when I know it is. Can you help me resolve this, dslx_nick?

Hey bovineyard. I'll take a look into this, but be aware that just because one line is able to get 7Mbps service, the other line may not be able to (since, as I understand it, you're talking about two separate phone lines there). It's possible that one of the two lines is going to a closer RT, while the other line is connecting to a further-out RT or CO, especially if the closer RT is out of room now.

Actually, both lines are coming in on the same cable, and we only have one CO in our town, so if the Frontier one is 7mb, it should be available through DSLx. Thanks, Mark B.

I'll have an senior billing rep look at this on Monday and see if there is a way to push the 7 meg order through. They are closed on the weekends so expect a call from them early this week.
