Re: [Rant] Technicians left a wiring nightmare

Maintenance contracts NEVER cover a DO OVER of shoddy wiring.

Basically you CANNOT move into a new place and have all the wires RE-INSTALLED.. It just doesnt work that way

YOU can PAY to have them ripped out and re-installed.

It doesnt really matter if comcast installed them that way, the previous renter/owner APPROVED THE WORK and if they accepted it like that then thats that.

Theres no "i didnt put these wires in so I am not responsible for it" it just doesnt work that way anymore

Not sexy! The bending radius is too small in several places and those wire hold downs are a no-no. And they are evenly spaced...another no-no. Looks like something an electrician would do.

My contribution, taken from an actual production datacenter. Moral of story: majority of co-lo customers are imbeciles, and this is exactly why I do not rent "shared cages".

Wiring in your house is your responsibility, as you own it. They shouldnt have made a mess, but ultimatly, its your responsibility.

you touch it you own it.
