Slippery slope

Why store your data in the cloud? Don't count on it being secure or even available to you when YOU want/need it. The Feds have made it clear that they will and do seize stored data from the citizens without warrant nor ability to retrieve your data. Cloud storage of data is just making it easier for the Feds to circumvent constitutional protection. I know, you say only the big fish doing illegal things like child porn, video and audio rip-offs etc. but ATT has already shown how willing it is to allow access to your private data without warrant and Megaupload customers have discovered their data is no longer available to them even if they are innocent of ANY violations. If your data is essential to your life liberty and pursuit of happiness, DON'T store/archive it in the cloud. Once it leaves your home/business it is in the control of the FEDS.
