Re: Moving and UVERSE is not offered - is WOW ok?
With the exception of the last few days my experience with customer service has been excellent.
The tech that have come to my home has always been professional and seemed like they knew their jobs. They did a cleaner / better install that what comcast did.
I can't compare the HD quality as its the only HD system I've used. I can say I am happy with the picture quality.
I love the ultra system. Its got a few "quirks" as its a new system but overall I like it.
I always had excellent experience with their CS as well -- which is why I am considering it again. They walked me through many troubleshooting things as a 16 year old kid and I appreciate their time - Comcast wouldnt have done that.
However, UVERSE is a new very updated product that feels like a new updated product AT&T is supporting. Does the WOW Ultra product feel like an updated product that WOW cares about? The old school WOW! guide on my parents system looks like the same Scientific Atlanta guide that has been in place on cable providers for the last 15 years.
How does their Internet speed compare to Comcast?
said by IT_guy_1999:Yes it feels and is a current system. Its nothing like the old SA boxes. IMO the only way you can get a "better" system is to make your own.

The first rev had some VPN issues and slow menus. A recent update reportedly has cured the gateway issues and the menus/guide are faster. WOW's site has a series of youtube videos on it so you can get a feel for the UI.
